How Much Yeast is in 1 Packet?

I'm making bread and need to know how much yeast is in a packet bec ause i buy the yeast in jars now. Plz help!!!

when it calls for 1 pkt I use 1 level table spoon, use measure spoons

Usually .25 of an ounce but I got a packet last night that had 5/8 of an ounce.  This morning my bread starter had exploded all over the kitchen so I am 'starting' back at square one...LOL...

1 envelope or packet of Active Dry Yeast, Instant Yeast, Rapid Rise Yeast, Fast Rising Yeast or Bread Machine Yeast weighs 1/4 ounce or 7 grams which equals 2 1/4 teaspoons (11 mL).
