How Much do roofers earn in Australia?

Hey my hubby just got an adult apprenticeship which pays reasonably well but its still a drop from his normal salary. I just want to know if it is worth it in the long run? Any advice would be great.

Roofers may earn from $25 to $37 per hour in Australia depending on experience.

I suggest you browse for "Roofers" (see the link below) on Seek.com.au.  Contact some of the agencies to get a more accurate idea of the rates.  

Rates will vary according to location.  E.g. in places like Western Australia and Central Qld where there is a severe housing shortage, you can expect to earn a higher rate.

In other places, especially NSW where higher interest rates have depressed demand for new dwellings, you would expect the rates of pay to be lower than in WA and Central Qld.
