  1. When I was moving my table 50 miles I got a wide range of quotes. I needed new felt too. I got them from $250 all the way up to $900. I tore it down myself and transported it. I set it up until the slate top. I had the pros do it from there. They sealed it with wax, felted it, and leveled the table for $200.

  2. Usually $200.00 to $300.00 (plus a mileage fee if there is a great distance to travel between houses) is charged if you get a pool table mechanic to do the move for you. You can find one in the yellow pages for your area or ask for a recommendation of one from your local billiard store. Often the local billiard hall will know and recommend a billiard mechanic too. If you hire someone instead of moving it yourself, you may want to buy a new cloth too since its going to be taken apart for the move, and no extra labour cost is incurred to stretch the old cloth or a new cloth when they put it back together.

  3. my cousin had to do that nd she was only movin 5 min down tha road nd it took 2 days nd they charged her 3 grand she was pissed thats like how much the table cost! good luck tho

  4. I charge any where from $375 to $600 depending on the situation. Antique tables would be towards the $600 mark, bad entries also toward the $600 mark. People don't realize the amount of work involved with moving a pool table. If you value your table, you have it professionally moved. Someone charging $2000, thats a little crazy, unless they where moving across country. My examples are for moving a table within a 3hr radius.
