I was curious what percentage a race track makes on simulcast wagers. Also what is the average race track take on the handle?

it is all about the takeout, they takeout the same as do the tracks themselves. it is a percentage. they make the same as the tracks do on every race. Co- mingled pools.

Somewhere around 3%.  It varies from track to track.  Anywhere from 16-20% on straight wagers (win/place/show) and 20-28% on exotic wagers.
