  1. I would either cater some food in or I would get other parents to bring a dish.

  2. Call a caterer! They will ask questions and you fill in the answers and they will do the rest!

  3. Agood rule of thumb is to figure a 1/4 lb of meat per person .

  4. I would honestly suggest getting trays of food prepared by a deli and then just picking it up.  Cooking for that many people would commit you to the kitchen and prevent you from visiting as well.  If you call a deli or catering place you can tell them your expected amount of people and they will taylor the trays to fit your needs.

  5. YOU SHOULD HAVE A LOT OF FOOD SO YOU WILL NOT RUN OUT

  6. Why not get some 6-ft submarine sandwiches?  About 5 should be fine .....  A gigantic fruit salad (hollow out 4 whole watermelons and refill with the melon, berries & pineapple) ......  Huge green salad with at least 15 heads of lettuce & other things (make in a big aluminum washtub) - bottles of dressing on the side  ......   Get a full sheet cake (or 2), plus cupcakes around it; and several large cookie/brownie platters.....
