avrage is about 500 you got that right look for specal markings on the gun name ss mark there are other things to look for that may make it worth a bunch, the Rock Island Auction Company sold a Sauer 38H, serial number 363573, that belonged to S.S. Colonel-General Joseph "Sepp" Dietrich for $43,125.00. so do your hokmework first ....:)
