How Much is my bicycle worth? (Raleigh m80)?

I have a friend selling a Raleigh m80 from year 2000ish and he is trying to sell it to me because I need a new one. It has barely been ridden (only once on a trail) and is in good shape. How much should I pay for this?

Becasue of the age, I would guess 200-300 - should be a pretty solid bike if it hasn't been used much.
