How Much money will i need for OZ and NZ?

I am spending 2 month in OZ and 3 weeks in NZ, I have all my flights and my travel (all going to plan) around both countrys paid for. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking to move to New Zealand, so I will be renting a car, for about $20 a day, and although I have been looking at renting a place long term, it is usually about $250 a week. I guess a hotel would be way more as it includes beds and linen and things.

They say you will need on average $1000 a week in money, and that includes the rent a car and food etc.

It depends have you got your accomadation paid for? Australia is a little dearer than new zealand, though if you budget $60-80 a day, that should get you by. Though if you havnt paid for accomadation add an extra $50- you can get some pretty cheap rooms in back packing hostels.
