How OLD do you have to be to take pole classes?

i want to take pole classes in here C.A because i want to strengthen my body and its a good exercise, but i was wondering how old do you have to be because i heard its any age .....?

The legit norm places are 18 years or older any place I have been to.

I am currently taking pole dancing in Vista, near Oceanside/San Diego.

I'm not sure about age limits where you live but a pole class in my area says people have to be min 16 to join.
