How Often Do you Need to Clean Carburator?

How often would I need to clean a 2007 Pontiac g6 carbon build up/clean-out/carburator?

Is it every 15,000 miles?

never   a 2007 has no carburator....you could clean the throdle body but why not wait until it needs it..like at 75 or 100K

Pedro's very right.  Cars have not had carburetors since the early 1970's.  

The G6 probably has a throttle body fuel injector which should not need any special cleaning for quite a while but you can throw a bottle of Injector cleaner into your gas tank once in a while if you like.  The bottle of cleaner will have recommended usage on it.  

Just for info, most large name oil companies add detergent to their gasoline.  Exxon, Chevron, Texaco all put detergent in their gasoline.  There should be information stickers on the gas pump which tells if it has detergent added.
