  1. If they are in pots, they'll need more water than if they're in the ground (almost daily).

If you are on the west coast of the US, you will need to water more (lower Relative Humidity).

Most all plants need a dry-out period between waterings.  This allows much needed oxygen/gas exchange for roots.  That's why when you water too much, you suffocate your plant.

Most plants will tell you when they need water, by wilting.  Wilting is actually a defense mechanism within the plant to maintain the fraction of water it's trapped for survival.   Without a n irrigation, the plant will enter a permanent wilting point and will most likely desicate.

So, water thoroughly, then wait a few days. Once the plant shows sign of a floppy leaf, from drought stress, water again.  This will give you somewhat of a watering schedule.  If the temps are higher (water a day earlier than usual), the the fog rolls in, give them a day or 2 longer.

    Common sense really.

  2. keep the marijuanna plant away from heat or will die. roses usually grow with ease. water the roses every other day. The sunflowers really dont need water. water them every 3 to 4 days. but water all the plant as much as they will take.

  3. They all require different amounts of water and fertilizer....just don't let them dry out and don't over water. More plants are killed by over watering than by drying out. If you can stick your finger into the dirt and feel some moisture, then you are OK...if it comes out muddy or dripping with water then it's too much...if it's so hard you can't stick your finger into the soil...then add a little water.

Without knowing what part of the country you are in.....it's hard to say. I water once a week...more more than that. It you see the water standing on top or running down around sides and not soaking in.....add some liquid dish soap to the water...it helps it soak in. It will not hurt the plants and helps keep bugs away.

  4. lol. Water them when they're dry. Depending on the amount of rainfall in your area, you should probably be water 2-3 times a week, more often if in drought conditions.
