I got my lobe pierced when I was 6 months old.

I got the top of my ear pierced (like that picture) when I was 12.

I don't think you're too young. All my friends had it done before they were 13.

I think that if you can take care of your piercing, then it's fine. My mom made me pay for my ear piercings myself so that I knew what I was getting into and that it was my responsibility to make sure they didn't get infected or anything.

Most piercing places won't do cartilage (like the picture) til you're 16

i got my 1st done at 6 or 7 and my 2nd done at 12, i have 2 in each ear, so no i dont hink you are too young!!

I got my ears done when I was 11, but I'm not you're mother. If you're mom says wait than wait. But if you don't want to wait, make a deal. Show her you can be responsible. Do things around the house without being asked, get good grades, don't miss curfew...etc. Good luck. PS. If you were my kid, I'd make you wait til you were 16.

it is just an ear piercing... i think at 13 you are plenty old enogh to make that decision. You will need to be able to convince your parents of that though because im pretty confident you need to be 18 to get one done alone. Dont try and do it yourself... that always leads to infection. But i think that is a very nice piercing and if you want it you should persue it.

Definately not too young. I had my ears peirced when I was 5. Now, if you said something like a tongue or nose ring then yea, I would say you are too young.
