First Week of the Champions League is over, and apart from Paris Saint-Germain, French teams fell miserably at the very first hurdle.
However, it was a night to remember at Parc des Princes. Champions League returned to Paris after an absence of eight years, and a comfortable win by PSG on Wednesday added to the excitement of the occasion.
Bettor.com takes a look at the cash-laden club from Paris, and how they fared in Europe after the end of the first Week.
Paris Saint-Germain
Carlo Ancelotti’s men easily saw off Dynamo Kiev in their first match of the competition, with Ibrahimovic, Pastore, Silva and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752, all getting on the score sheet.
The match was already over for the visitors before the half time whistle. Summer signing, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, calmly converted from the spot to break the deadlock. His fellow summer signing from AC Milan, Thiago Silva, also found the back of the net on his
Paris Saint-Germain debut.
Alex scored his side’s third of the day, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082 added the fourth and final of the day for Les Parisiens in stoppage time.
Paris Saint-Germain played like a team who could surprise many in the European competition this season. There were many players in the team who caught everyone’s eye with an impressive outing at Parc des Princes.

his first game for Paris Saint-Germain is a great joy for the coach, who would want the defender to continue playing like that in the future.
However, goalkeeper, Salvatore Sirigu, would be gutted with the easy goal PSG conceded in their return to the Champions League.
Veloso’s tremendous cross, which wasn’t meant for the goal, deceived everyone and fell into http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 international knows that the goal could have been avoided.
Carlo Ancelotti’ would be delighted with Paris Saint-Germain’s reintroduction to Europe. However, things will get only tougher from here and the Ile giants will come up against more tricky oppositions in the coming weeks.
