How Perles Minaj can behave in second Oxford trip?
After a series of Swindon outings, Perles Minaj turned to Oxford on November 9. It was a T2 race. The R. Jones trained black b***h fought well, but finished second.
As the two-year-old novice hound prepares to warm up her heels over the same racecourse tonight, many sport lovers and bettors question her status in the playfield.
This is the Bags Track Championship – b*****s, set to go over the distance of 450 metres. For the IT contest of £200, Perles Minaj has earned the 6-4 favourite tag. She will break from Trap 5 to endeavour for registering a triumph at Oxford.
If we take a look at the young b***h’s profile, we see some big feats over there. The last two months had been her peak time. Another interesting fact about her is that the enthusiastic sprinter has run most of her races with favourite tags.
On November 2, the daughter of Droopys Kewell out of Perles Dame won an IR race with the same title of Bags Track Championship – b*****s. While being the 4-5 favourite, she beat Lacken Style by a neck’s margin after a tough battle.
Tonight, the skilled greyhound will experience similar situation again, but the battlefield is different this time. In fact, this will be an acid test of the b***h’s capabilities.
Perles Minaj’s first Oxford experience had been good enough, though not up to the expectations. Hopefully, she might have read the ground well. Thus, the energetic runner will be able to go clean from beginning to the end of the race.
The only rival who can hamper her is Shelbourne Nat. The B. L. King trained brindle b***h too ran a T2 race at Oxford on November 9, but won it convincingly by 4 lengths.
Unlike the favourite candidate, the veteran b***h has a lot of exposure to this venue. The daughter of Collision out of Shelbourne Julie will prove to be a tough runner in the playfield.
This makes success more important for Perles Minaj. Now, Jones’ pupil has to try every nerve to prove her skills. Let us enjoy her stylish action. Good luck to both the b*****s.
