We are unrivaled economically, culturally, and technologically as well. So... that's a hard question to answer because there really is no country that we could compare ourselves to in terms of absolute, raw power.

Power itself is immeasurable.  In the case of military displays of force, once a weapon or weapons have been discharged, power diminishes. Once a Bullet or Bomb is fired its strength will dissipate.  

The potential of power can be estimated in economic and social terms.  Production of items for subsistence and survival is measurable in the service it provides to satisfy human desire.  Continued sustainability to produce beyond what is necessary to satisfy domestic demand is tremendous economic strength it the potential to provide other nations in commerce or need.

Additionally the poor to moderate social strata in the USA is in possession of comforts which are considered luxuries in some parts of the world.  Individual citizens In the USA are shareholders in the greatest corporation ever founded.
