"Premier League clubs were invited to run an inter-school challenge during Global Entrepreneurship Week 2009. Each club hosted a dragons den style event with the task of marketing / promoting a category C PL game. The winners of each club event went through to the national finals at Manchester City in December 2009 where Everton were crowned the winners .

The clubs were supported closely in this by PL EA Programme Manager Sophie Hukin as well as Enterprise UK and GEW. Enterprise UK sits on the national steering group for Premier League Enterprise (along with BIS) with the aim of aligning the two organisations by embedding activities run by Enterprise UK within the clubs to help enhance their offer to schools. Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a starting point for the clubs to link to Enterprise UK activities."
