So recently about a week ago my girlfriend moved to California, and i'm in the East Coast. We're farther apart from each other and this depression is building onto to me about her. Now I can't see her for another 4 or 5 years..The only way I communicate with her is by the phone and online. We're really close to each other and I love her the most. I confide in her alot as well..I don't want to be with another girl but her, and I dont mind waiting those years to see her again and be together..So now im just wondering if theres anything to cope with the depression...?

I don't mean to whine or anything, just thought there could be something useful to utilize.

  1. Here are two obvious options:

If possible, move out to California. Only do this if you think it's love and you refuse to break up.

Break up with her. It'll cause a mess if you continue this long-term relationship. Maybe it's best if you see other people.

  2. time to find a new girl

  3. You're going to hate this idea.  I know it.  But hear me out.

You two sound really close, and that's great.  But a biiig part of most relationships is the physical aspect, as well as being able to be with one another often.  If you are depressed in a relationship, I think you should break up.  She could still be a really good friend to confide in and talk to all the time or whenever, but maybe you'll lose a little of your anxiety and depression in the process.  See what she thinks about that.

  4. Can you answer this then I'll answer: How old are you?
