How Should I Weight My Boat?

I Have A ski boat That I am trying to wakeboard behind I put a pylon on it and I have put weight on it but the wake doesnt have pop I can go wake 2 wake but i dont get more than 2 feet off the water what should i do?

  1. look up your boats weight limits and just keep adding weight,

    make sure that only 25% if any of that weight is solid tho(concrete, sand,rocks) , or you could sink if you use only water ballasts, even if you do exceed weight limits, your boat wont sink but just fill to the surface with water...

    when adding weight, dont just add to the back... add it everywhere in the boat.. if its all in the back.. itll take forever to get the boat to plane and youll be going extremely fast getting there... if its all in the front, no wake. just make sure that whatever you do to one side of the boat, do to the other...

  3. add friends. (3 large people will do wonders for the wake) fat sacks.metal bars. coolers full of drinks. speed change & rope length change may help too.
