How Should one dress for The Del Mar Race Track?

Well Steve it all depends on where your going to be seating

They have rules for the club house, and Turf club,

Turf Club you must have a Jacket on and woman should be in SLAKES NO BLUE JEANS

Just carry a sports coat with you

and a tie

and have your woman friend wear a nice summer dress , with a nice hat

Del Mar is very fun Place to be

towards the evening it might a bit Chilly !!

Just dress casual,, if your in the regular grandstand stand

on the general addmission part,,, it doesn't matter,,

have tons of fun

It really depends where you are sitting.

Casual is fine for every where except The Turf Club at Del Mar.

Outside of The Turf Club, you will see people dressed in T-shirts shorts and Flip flops to slacks and shirts (less common on a hot day).

Girls will dress casual to looking nice in summer dresses.

The Turf Club has a specific dress code.

For Men:  Jacket and tie, no jeans.  You do not have to wear a tie though.  Most men are in suits.

For Women:  Pants suits and Dresses.  Mini-skirts not advisable.  Think Classy.

grandstand - casual.

clubhouse & turf club - look sharp.
