Question:

How To Break It To A Needlephobic...?

My ex boyfriend is currently in hospital, and I'm the only one looking out for him. He's a complete needle/hospital phobic and I have no idea how to tell him that the hospital want him to stay there for at least two weeks regarding the circumstances, or that his father has completely abandoned him. Has anyone got any ideas?

Thanks.

  1. The hospital is responsible for telling him they want him to stay, you should just be there for his moral support. About his father be up front and honest, try to keep it gentle but remember, this information is going to hurt no matter what. There is nothing you can do to make it not hurt, so just let him know you are there for him no matter what.

  2. Get his doctor's help on this one.  Maybe it's best not to tell him he'll have to stay longer or that his Dad has abandoned him, might make him feel worse.  It's great you're there for him though, I hope he's better soon.
