How To Carbonate Water?

I want to carbonate water but I don't want to use expensive equipment like a soda stream. Is there an easy way to carbonate water.

Also once I have carbonated the water how would i make it taste like cola or fanta etc?

You need to buy some equipment to carbonate the water. The easiest thing would be to buy a bottle of selzer water and then you can add things to it to make it taste better. I like half seltzer, half apple juice with a pinch of lemon and a spring of mint. Be creative, always keep a bottle of seltzer on hand, and you can make some cool drinks
