As a teenager my boyfriend starting working for a property owner doing maintenace and repairs to his resedential and commercial properties. he completed an apprentiship in joinery, and he is now a fully qualified CSCS card holder Joiner with 5 years experience. I'm really struggling to find another job for him as a joiner as it looks as though in a few months his job might not be there anymore, he's worked for the same person all his life. His job is cards in, a regular weekly income. Can you suggest the best way to find him another job? Will there be any way he can get a regular income again or will he have to just get agency work as it comes? Any suggestions would be welcome.... Oh and he doesnt drive but he is willing to do public transport. He is taking lessons to drive though....
He knows almost all aspects of property maintenance, carpet laying, painting, first and second fix joinery, window fitting, and a bit of plastering.
