try bulbman.com, install is very easy, however it may not be a lamp issue. Check your dust filters.

You didn't specify which model so I can't be specific, but you probably won't find one under $250-300. If your projector is a popular model you may find a bulb on eBay ... but not too likely. Do a search using a shopping search engine (see the 1st link)

The 2nd link below is to one of the less expensive sites that list epson projector lamps ... but prices vary widely by model.

As to installation it's usually a DIY job.  Assuming you have access (if not you will have to take down the projector from it's mounting)you just unscrew the access panel, remove the old bulb, and (being careful to not touch the new one with your bare fingers) install the new one and reverse the process. At the same time, take the time to clean the air filter. All instructions should be in your manual.
