How To Join Activists?

I want to volunteer for Greenpeace Australia, but don't know how. Is anyone on yahoo answers a volunteer, how did you join and find out about future protests to stop global warming or whaling? I am really into this stuff and want my voice heard. Like what Isabelle Lucas did to stop whaling
