i'm about 145 pounds. i'd like to get down to about 115 by homecoming, so i can get a dress to show off the new me.
i'm thinking about going on south beach, because other people in my family say it works really well, but i need some recipes!! my mom hates to have to make a totally separate meal for me, so she said if i go on a diet, i have to cook for myself. and i'm fine with that, but i need some recipes.
as for exercise, i know you should do cardio and weight training. and my dad just spent a ton of money on an elliptical, treadmill. stair climber thing, bike, and a bowflex. we also have normal hand weights (3lbs and i like 6 lbs). but i dont know where to start!!! what machines should i use? and for how long?
i'd also like to tone up my butt/thighs/abs. what are some good exercises for that?
oh, and are there any workouts that will specifically target areas that homecoming/prom dresses show off?
