  1. The entire plastic panel that surrounds your radio and instrument cluster needs to be removed.

There are two small plastic trim pieces that just pull off; often they're "wood grain" finish.  One surrounds the climate controls, and another is at the light switch.  Remove these two pieces, and you'll see the screws that hold the lower portion of the main dash panel.

Remove the screws that secure the upper portion of the dash panel, above the radio and instrument cluster.  Once all the screws are removed, you can pull the panel off.  Then you can remove two screws that secure the mounting kit and deck.

If you have JVC radio removal keys, you can just pull the deck right out the front of the kit.  However, the radio cavity in your vehicle is so enclosed that this wouldn't do you any good.  You're going to have to remove the dash panels in order to run wiring to the radio location.

  2. Pop out your ash tray, and there should be a s***w in there that holds your dash bezel in. Pop that off and you should have access to your radio which is held in by 4 screws. I believe this is correct, I remember doing an install on a similar truck.
