How To Ruin Your Vision?

my parents don't want to get me glasses because my vision is just a little messed up. so i want to know to know how make my vision worse? i cant see too good now and they wont get me glasses until my vision is really bad so please help! thx:)

read a book while laying down or start wearing ur friends or whatever's glasses cause if u do then u will have to wear it, cause ur eyes are use to it :))

I really don't think that it's a good idea to try to make your vision worse.It won't solve the parent problem and will just hurt you in the long run. I think you need to be more assertive with your parents about how things are affecting you now! Perhaps they need a little more education on this subject! If money is the issue, there are many programs out there to help you get glasses/contacts. After you get your prescription, you can pick out glasses/contacts that you want (as apposed to need) when you have the money. If you are having a vision problem, it needs to be addressed as soon as possible, or it WILL get worse on it's own. How bad do they want your vision to be...bad enough to get into a car wreck, if you drive? Not sure what's really going on here but if what you say is true, you need some help. Sorry to ask but what's up with your parents not wanting to get your vision corrected?

Yeah, just stay on the computer a lot, that's how I ruined my vision (but it wasn't intentional, and I've needed glasses since I was 8, and it got worse when I got the internet)

But don't do it, you'll need glasses for everything and it'll be difficult when you play sports...your parents will have to buy contact lenses...etc etc
