  1. 1) Get yourself physically comfortable.  If you're reading, get a comfy easy chair (or recliner) and have a light shining on your book over your left shoulder.

    2)  Use colored sunglasses occasionally to change the shade of the pages you're reading--helps with eyestrain and provides a "Hawthorne effect".

    3)  Schedule your study sessions like this: set timer for 45 minutes.  Take a few minutes at first to preview what you're going to study.  Then study it.  When the timer goes off, take a few minutes to review what you studied.  Then take 10 minutes to break; get a beverage, wash face, put on loud music, dance, play exciting video game, whatever to break the routine.  Then do another cycle, setting timer for 45 minutes, etc.

    4)  Do a mental calculus; does the need to sleep supercede the need to study at some point?  If you're at 100% and you only completed 80% of the material, you can still perform better than if you're at 90% and you completed 85% of the material.

  2. I've found that regular (not diet or caffeine free) allways does the trick for me. Each 24 oz. bottle has 300 calories Plus 76mg. of caffeine.

  3. use ice

  4. buy an energy drink it works everytime

  5. go to a Quicklys or Tap EX and get some Milk TEA!!!

    yay.

or listen to loud music or something, keep a bright light shining on your face too.
