How To Teach Myself Guitar?

I've had my guitar for three years now and i never learned it but i really want to start so where do i start?

I was always the type of person who liked to teach myself things. I had a guitar for a good year and a half and all my sis taught me were the basic strings. if you find yourself a simple "How to teach myself guitar" site online, they should teach you the strings and tabs should be a breeze for you. Chords are another story. If you wanna go full on guitar master...buy a book at guitar center or amazon or barnes and nobles. There are plenty of Self teaching books. ;) hope it helps.
