Go to google.com / latitude and access your Google account. Your Google account is the same as you use in Google services like Gmail and Google Docs.

Click "Add Friends" on the left side. Click the drop-down at the top of the dialog box, select "All contacts". Scroll down the list until you find the contact information of the person you want to crawl through your phone. If there is a blue icon next to the name, that person is already using Google Latitude . Click on the button "Add" to add to your friend. The monitoring will not begin until the person accepts your request.

Click on the "Friends" page in Google Latitude and see a Google map on the right. To the left of the map is a list of friends and your latitude. Click on the name of your friend in the list and the cell appear on the Google map. You can also see how much time has passed since the location has been updated.
