I will answer the best I can. First off, there is no way you can legally trade a Pokemon from your ROM to ANY other game.

In later Pokemon games on Game Boy SP/Advance they incorporate a special trade center to trade with older versions of the game. I don't remember it exactly because it's been awhile.

If you are referring to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, you can put your diamond or earl in one slot and your older game in another and then use the Pokemon Migrate option in Pal Park.
