How UNLUCKY is the US Sprint Teams?

My God! I just saw it on TV.... that is insanely unlucky....

Sorry, I was never a pro or anything so anyone that's done athletics more seriously than me, please do correct me. I believe they were unprepared because I have never seen someone in a relay with a baton ready arm up in the air waving around (Tyson g*y). How he expected his team mate to get the baton firmly in his hand is beyond me. We were taught to have your arm down, palm up and against your side to keep it still. And he should have known his speed compared to his team mate's speed so that he wouldn't end up in front of the box early. Of course, I can see how 20metres is going to seem shorter for people who run 9 seconds compared with people that run 13-15 seconds like we did, but it just seems to ooze lack of preparation/practice.

nah its not unlucky its talent they lack. since they hve been hard on dopers, we really nw are seeing what they had been made of.  So now the true talent has been shining :) Ja all the way!!!!  Not to mention hw intimidated the US are, when a Jamaican is in the race!!!!

That wasn't unlucky. They simply were unprepared.

Did you also notice the blank bibs with the letters 'USA' marked with black markers on their chest? This along with NBC commentator Otto (sp?) agreed that the US Track team coaches may have been unprepared.

Nope their not unlucky they were just underprepared and probably did minimal training for the relay.
