  1. Egypt died with Cleopatra , when Octavian defeted Mark Athony at Actuim and Cleopatra commited suicide Egypt became a province of Rome , and stayed that way untill Rome declined then Egypt was a poor province and declined into a fourth world power never to recover

  2. The pharonic period ended following the fall of the Ptolemaic Pharao's (who were themselves decendants of alexander the great's general- Ptolemy) after the Roman invasion and the absorbtion into the Empire.  It was similar to the situation in Iraq, Egypt supplied Rome with most of it's grain. Rome could not afford Egypt to cut off that supply so, like the US with oil the Romans needed to secure that supply.

  3. in most religious views: Moses the prophet where the pharoh and the soldiers were following the belivers of one god then the sea opened for them and when the soldiers tried to follow them from the same path the sea closed over the soldiers and they drowned along the pharoh, this is also known as the great typhoon

  4. Conquered by the Romans and annexed to the Roman Empire.
