Say I buy100 shares of a company today and I sell them next week for a benefit in share price.

1-Will I still get share capital for that week of owning company's shares?

2-If so, how and when will I get that?

Thanks

  1. You buy the shares and you own a tiny percentage of the company's capital, or a tiny part of the company itself. You can have a share certificate as proof of your ownwership. A company may stop trading and return all the capital to the shareholders or sell part of the company and distribute part of the capital but this is unusual. If the company delisted and distributed all it's capital you would get a  probably get a lot less than you paid. This is because the actual stock exchange quote makes the shares more valuable than a non-listed company. I am not sure you actually grasp the concept of shares and markets.
