Question:

How & Why does ice get freezerburn?

You know "freezerburn" that white stuff that accumulates on items in the fridge that are exposed to oxygen too long. I just guess I don't understand how ice can get freezerburn too. The other day I got a few cubes for a drink and they definately had freezerburn... you could taste it. How old would the ice have to be to aquire it?

  2. I don't think the ice it self is burned, i think that what you have it there with it is what gives it the funny taste. and the constant opening and closing of freezer can cause that to happen. try using baking soda in the freezer to absorb the odor.
