How Would You Practice / How about this?

Practice putting for 1 hour - 30mins from 3ft and 30mins from 30ft. Then the next practice session I would work from 4ft and 20ft. Then 5tf and 10ft. Then 6ft and 8ft untill I work myself back around again

Practice chipping/approach for 1 hour (using the same method as putting) :

10yards and 120yards

20yard and 110yards

30yards and 100yards

etc

So far thats 2hour practice, with another hour maybe hit of a handful of drivers and longer irons.

  1. i guess lion share to be given to the practice around the green, chipping and pitching (if you have two hours)what ever, it should be progressive one. not long and short simultaneously.

  2. Devote each 2 hour session to one discipline. Either chipping or putting.  Don't mix them up.

And don' make them too varied either.  Better to practice 10 foot putts until you can knock them all in with your eyes closed.

  3. the problem with only putting from two distances every day is that on the course you're going to have different length putts one after the other.  I would suggest working from around 6 feet, then to around 12 feet, then hitting lag putts from around 30, and then by making 30 3 footers in a row.  after that i would finish by putting out from random distances in a random order.  this will get you more comfortable for when you have a short putt followed by a long putt on the course.

i would also separate chipping and approach shots in much the same way finishing with shots from random distances.  it would also be beneficial to hit a variety of shots on the range.  if there is one club that is giving you trouble focus on that for a while then go through hitting short, mid, and long irons, and end with the driver.  then to finish play a course that you're familiar with on the range.  hit a driver then whatever iron you would hit into the 1st hole and so on.

one thing to remember is to only stay in one area as long as you're focused.  without focus it turns into just banging balls and that leads to practicing bad habits.  from your schedule i would assume that you are playing in high school and trying to play at the next level.  if this is true then a couple hours of practice a day isn't enough.  i graduated from high school a few years ago with the same goal in mind and routinely spent 4 hours a day practicing.  just be sure that in every session you mix it up and don't spend too much time hitting the same shot over and over again because that isnt how it is on the course.

hope this helped and good luck.
