How a boxer punch so hard?

they punch 1800 pounds average?

how they train to hit so hard, i know kinetic energy, and can throw a proper over hand right that will send people my own size flying, but nothing near a 1800 pounds average punch.

  2. Power comes from a strong core & the ability to turn there feet, hips & shoulders. A good balance of movement of the complete body allows them to generate more power. Also turning there fists over not only helps with protecting there chin by blocking it with there shoulder but it also helps generate more power. Practice practice practice, it takes time and practice.

    As far as 1800 pounds of punching power, it will very from fighter to fighter, not all fighters are big punchers.

    I have a 115lb fighter who was tested at 861 pounds on his left hook only, his right hand was still wrapped do to an injury but these numbers are huge, it takes about 250 pounds to knock somebody out or to cause a concussion. . Good luck...

  4. There is no really an answer to that question but,

    they have 1800 pounds punch due to allot of practicing, remember when they punch they use there hole body weight and power to hit, and their body power is the hole power in the punch.
