How a converted muslim guy marry a muslim girl legally?

Question

i feel in love with a muslim girl a year ago and i converted to islam. my girl is from chennai but living in dubai. her parents are forcing her to get married to another guy.the only proof that i have that iam a muslim is a affidavit from a lawyer. i got exactly three days now because her parents are taking her to dubai.i need help real fast. iam aware of the special marriage act but its time consuming and i dont think she can come back after thirty days to sign again.is there another way to get married legally since i have embraced islam i like to have a legal nikkha. kindly help...

As Noor said, being your muslim won't work intill girl's father agree to your marriage.

well i firstly welcome u to Islam, Sorry to tell u brother that legal Nikkha also counts on the acceptance of the Nikkha by the girl's Father, then only it is a complete nikkha.

Talk to there parents tell them u are a muslim now.

In islam if u run away with a girl n get married tht is not legal for a muslim girl to get married she shd have a mahram with her(father, brother) but if a girl is a divorcee or widow thn u can marry her with out her parents.well its not good to run away and get married.try to convince ur parents...all d best...

If you have legally converted to Muslim Religion then contact the local Maulvi for Nikha Ceremony between both of you, in presence of at least two witnesses, get a Nikhanama (Proof of Nikha Ceremonies) immediately which can be later on even get registered under the Special Marriage Act, 1954 under section 15 /16 & a Valid Marriage Certificate can be so obtained under the Special Marriage Act, 1954, till that process your Muslim Marriage (Nikha) will remain Valid Marriage Ceremony.
