What do you guys know about it? It is cheap, but is it worth the money? I only need a simple bike without spending too much on it. Nothing for competition, just casual rides. But I don't want to get something I can't count on.

  1. I agree. I looked at that one a number of times and was always turned off. You can safely pass on the Kent Denali.

  2. No! It is NOT worth the money. Kent International was purchased by Walmart and GMC is represented by Kent.

Being in the business I sometimes goof off and work out the factory cost of bikes from places like Walmart, and the Denali was one of them. Factory price for that bike is about $44.00. Now, it IS worth $44... maybe even $50... but not much more.

You will be MUCH better off finding a used bike for the same money. It is garage sale season and I am absolutely sure you could find a nice road bike in good condition.

  3. Cheap = junk.
