How about Marcus Ambrose and his first Nationwide win.

Question

After being the bridesmaid and never the bride he closed the deal today at Watkins Glen. He should have won last week in Montreal and today is his week. Congratulations to Marcus Ambrose and Gary Cogswell (crew chief). Thanks to Boris for racing him clean! Thoughts on the race?

That was a great race. If Kevin couldn't win there was no one else I would have rather seen go to vl. Marcos is a good driver and it's nice to see him finally get that monkey off his back and get that 1st win.

Great job to Marcos and his first win. After his great showing at Infineon (except for that little wreck with Elliott), and then last week at Montreal, I was really happy to see him win...especially after I called it here earlier! :-)

I thought Jimmie Johnson's conversation with Chad about fuel was interesting. I don't think it really mattered much if he conserved or not: Jimmie was right.

As for Jr (yes, I am an Jr fan) I usually do not have much expectations for him at road courses except for maybe not wrecking. He sucks at road courses and everyone (even Jr) knows it. Although he's getting better...a little.

Kyle...oooh, here's a treacherous piece of ice in this forum. I'll tell you the truth. He's good wherever he races. He good whatever he drives. He ticks me off and I live with it. If Jr is going to win a championship this year, he's going to have to earn it by out driving KB and that's a big mountain to climb!

And I do want to let Mustard know that I really had today's race narrowed down to Dario and Ambrose.

This was totally awesome, we all are happy here, think we'll celebrate with a couple Fosters...Congrats Marcos!! Great Race....and also  it was a great race for Brad Keselowski getting closer to 1st in the points..

Congrats to Ambrose - very glad to see him win!

I'm disappointed in Boris, though.  He raced Marcos clean as far as not wrecking him.  But he definitely tried to hold Ambrose up.

All in all, it was a great race.  Much better than racing in the rain!

I was happy borris was good at the end.  he did say he would get back at ambrose but he held off which made it a nice ending to a race.  ambrose was happy to win and it was well deserved for him.
