How about Sony DCR SR35e?

I don't know too much about handycame, however now I have to buy one. Sony SR35e seems not too bad: the price is around £220, 40x optical zoom and 2000x digital zoom, 30g HDD. However the customer reviews of this model are not very positive. So, do you have any comments on this model? Do you like to recommend me some other model, from Sony or other brands, aroud the price? Any replies are really warmly welcome and you are highly appreciated.

  1. I would go with CanonFS11. I spent hours and days finding the best camera for the best price. On Amazon you get the whole lot for $430. It has a mic. jack, takes pictures and videos, high, normal, and long play quality. It is a GREAT camcorder for the money. Oh! and 16 gigs of internal memory(up to 18 or so hours /9999 pictures)
