  1. I paid $3.27 today.  I used to fill up with 20 dollars... now its almost $40.

Oh and I heard on the radio today that they did a study on gasoline pumps and it turns out we don't pay by the gallon of liquid sometimes.  I think when you try to top off you are only getting fumes (I know cars run off of fumes).  They are supposed to store that gas at a certain temperature but on hot Southern California days the gasoline vaporizes but the pump still charges you!

  2. That would have to have been last year. This will be the 2nd time that price is reached, after the price slump of the last year or so.

  3. Get out the party hats...it's about to happen!

  4. You have had your "Gas" too cheap for far too long - come to UK and try out our prices - get a smaller engine car - instead of a gas guzzler lol

  5. George Bush is already celebrating.  All of his oil baron buddies are buying more gallons of champagne than I buy of gasoline.

  6. They hit 3 bucks along time ago..I'm paying about $3.27...we're looking at 4 bucks by Nov. this year.

  7. Why are you celebrating?  Do you own Exxon stock?

  8. Sounds llike a good idea, but not for the reason you're suggesting. Where I live, gasoline is still less than $3/gal and pollution is a real problem. The more expensive gasoline gets, the more people will be concious of how much they use. Besides, I don't know why Americans complain about high gas prices. It's still less than anywhere else in the world.
