How about a thumbs up to the pens this season?

i will be the first to admit, i moved out of pittsburgh 7 years ago and live in missoula mt. i have talked sh*t to people out here since january, everyone that lives here is not from montana, most from minnesota, michigan and wisconsin and a bunch from pa. i was wrong and lost some money, but the pens had a great year and will be strong for the next 10 years. as i have always said out here, being a pittsburgh fan is like living on the death star............ everyone hates you but that dosent mean we wont bring some ****.. lets go pens lets go steelers, pittsburgh sports will be exrtemely competitive for the next few years. congrats to the wings it was a h**l of a series.

p.s. i exclude the buccos from this statement. baseball sucks, sportscenter talked of a baseball player taking time off for general soreness, what a bunch of wankers :)

I definitely give a thumbs up to the Penguins. Actually I change my mind. Two thumbs up. They made it to the Finals. That's special. I really liked how they saluted the fans at the end, and the Red Wings. That was awesome.

Despite their loss tonight, the young Penguins team really gave them a run for their money the other night... it was one of the most thrilling games I can remember in the past few years.

I'm not happy the Red Wings won (again), but I'm looking forward to see what the Penguins and other teams dominated by younger players will be doing this coming season.

Anyone can look good when it's fixed to make them look good.... watch games and check stats throughout the season and especially the playoffs (which were a joke all around) and you'll see for yourself, if you take the time...but pittsburgh got their money in the end and the NHL got their cash and ratings, so they are good for now...

I'm proud of the Wings, but I cannot say that without respecting the Penguins' stamina and work ethic. They were exceptionally tough.

Pens put up a h**l of a fight...and I'm d**n proud of them.  

BTW...if you're Pittsburgh proud...you shouldn't exclude the buccos.  I still support them...even though they are making a mockery of a sport called baseball.

Much props to the Pens. If the Wings had been eliminated from the Playoffs, the Pens were my second choice of teams to root for this season.

Those kids have got a lot of heart. If they can keep that core group together, it will only be a matter of time before they are hoisting a cup of their own.

I am happy for the Wings but I most certainly give the Penguins a thumbs up, they played good and I think they are very good competition. You definitely can't underestimate the Penguins that's for sure.
