I heard software testing engineer is a promising job,is it true?Can anyone tell me?

1) You enjoy finding problems.

2) You have good communication skills.

3) You are able to handle and keep track of several things in a single day.

4) You work well independently as well as within a team and with other people.

5) You work well with both the details as well as the big picture.

Yes Software testing is good job and it pays well. But there is a lack in creativity. You are testing a software others created. Where is the creativity in it

I haven't seen "testing" before, but entry level for software engineer in my neck of the woods is $65k.

It is a somewhat promising job. Doesn't take too much time away from your family or life. You would be able to work out of the comfort of you home in most cases. But other times the company will require you to work at their factory.

The job earns a pretty good amount of money for the career. Averaging in the U.S. at around $69,370

listen every one is scared that if they go into technology they will be without a job. They dont realize everything nowadays is based on tech. now to answer your question - yes!!! It is a great job and pays well too

Yes Ms.Yin.  You have the opportunity to try out new products and analising products you are testing out to determine on what to improve, productivity wise as well as security features....It aint an easy task.  When a new product is introduced, you as an software engineer have to work extra hard to improve the product,etc......
