I wasn't able to find a news story online but on the local Detroit news, they reported that the Penguins were awaken at 1:30 a.m. last night at their hotel by a fire alarm....and then to be awaken again an hour later just to notify hotel guests that it was a false alarm. The news commentators were saying "Will this affect their game tonight..."

Detroit fans found out which hotel the Lakers were staying at last time they met in the playoffs.  They through a party on the roof of the building next to it and were using blow horns all night, well actually till the cops broke it up.  Then they just drove around the block honking their horns.

I guess its better to be awakened by a fire alarm than to sleep through a fire, but it still sucks. As far as being awakened to be told it was a false alarm, do you really think any of those guys were really sleeping  before they knew for sure?
