  1. idk it sounds pretty ridiculous

  2. Fact is only the lawyers will see the money now, what did Jet Blue offer that he turned down?

  3. HAHA that's funny I hope he wins.

  4. This sounds like one of those stories where the entire story was not included, for the sake of getting a reaction from the public. I may be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was more to this than what is currently presented. Our news media does this all the time.

  5. h**l, give me the toilet and let me lock the door. More legroom and no one to tell you to sit down during turbulence.

    6'3" and hates flying anyway.

  6. I can't believe anyone actually believes this story.

Let's look at this. The man was NOT a passenger. He was flying for free on an employee pass he got from a friend - so he was treated as a fellow company employee by the crew.

The flight he picked was sold out. An off duty flight attendant, who had an assigned passenger seat in the cabin, voluntarily gave her seat to this man just to be nice.

Almost two hours into the flight, she was sick and asked if she could rest in what was 'her' seat. (this man should have offered her her sear back without being asked - he was a jerk)

I doubt the pilot was ever involved because he wasn't even named in the lawsuit.............

Plus, the pilot was in the cockpit so how could this guy have spoken to him? And this is not the sort of issue that the crew would ever bother the pilot with to begin with.

If this man sat in a bathroom - it was his choice and he was an idiot. You can hang anywhere in the airplane if the seat belt sign is not on.

Once the seat belt sign came on, the flight attendant immediately left the passenger seat, giving it back to this jerk and she went back to the tiny fold down seats the flight attendants sit on for take off and landing.

Can no one see how strange this man is, who is claiming he is a victim?

  7. i herd bout that, he shuld sue 4 more

  8. heard about this last night.  it's ridiculous.  put me on the jury; i'll give him three times what he's asking.  the pilot needs to be suspended and the airline spanked.  and the whiney little attendent needs a few days off to think about it as well.

  9. The trip was free, they did him a favor. Many time i would have been glad to stand all the way home.

  10. I'd sit in the can during a flight if it meant I could sue for 2 million....

  11. Jetstream is correct.  He was a non-rev, which means non revenue passenger.  He did not pay for a ticket and is entitled to nothing.  It's true that he shouldn't have to sit on the toilet, but he still cannot sue.  He agreed to do whatever he was told when he arrived at the airport.  People riding on employee passes cannot sue, or even get damages for lost luggage.  It's pretty unlikely that he would get injured in the lavatory, since he could have been standing anywhere instead of sitting in there.  Non-revs cannot sue, even if he was killed in an accident.  If you worked for an airline you would understand this.  His friend who gave him the pass may lose his travel privileges, or even get fired, and it will be this guys fault.  I feel sorry for his friend, and for the flight attendant that wanted her seat back.  This guy should be ashamed.  He probably didn't understand that he had no rights and should do what he was told.  That's why I'm very careful about who I give those passes to.  He is also from another country, and perhaps he didn't understand.  I'm sure he will lose the lawsuit, and probably have to pay JetBlue for court costs.  He should drop it now before he gets his friend fired.  Good luck to them both.

  12. I saw that!! Crazy huh? He should have been more assertive and made a scene. We also don't know the other side of the story so I don't want to hate JetBlue just yet.

  13. They're only required to provide him a seat belt for taxi, takeoff, and landing, which he got. He'll probably be sent on his way with a few free travel vouchers for jet blue, and told to go pound sand

  14. Hey, the trip was free for him.  He was lucky to even GET a seat (though the toilet wasn't exactly the best place to put him..I'll agree with him on that). They should have made accommodations for something more suitable..but he shouldn't have expected a seat on a packed plane (at least not one for the entire flight).

  15. Both employees need to be canned!! That fa knew what she was getting into she sits in that seat everyday she works!! They broke a Federal Aviation Regulation. That man could have been seriously injured if they would have hit bad turbulence!! Wow!!

He could have been put on a later flight on the ground the fa should have said something there, in the air was too late for her to change her mind.

  16. I don't understand how she could have "made" him do it. What was she going to do, throw him off the place. Spank him. Take away his little bag of peanuts.

Sounds like he needs some balls.

  17. There's a lot more to this story, I suspect. Ya don't make a passenger sit in the lav fer goodness sakes! He's probably a scam artist trying to dip into what he perceives as deep pockets.

  18. To  h**l with  him.  He's  a  complainer.  He should have landed before the plane.

  19. yea i saw that this morning

it paid to sit in the toilet cus now he gettin 2 million lol

wish that was me i wouldve sued for more lol

    *************Chel**********

  20. perhaps the flight attendant felt ill and needed the seat - and he has blown it out of proportion.  i would like to hear the other side.
