How about the name Romeo?

Question

I'm due next saturday with my second son. my husband is italian and our 1st sons name is Dominic. Our last name is Rivello and i think Romeo Rivello has a good ring to it. Plus it's a family name for my husband. I know he'll get picked on some but I think I've finally found "the name" but give me some feedback please!!! the middle name will be Blaize....Thanks

i like that name i thought about that name for my son but it might be his middle name, but romeo goes good with your last name i hope i helped you!

Yes it does have a ring to it but dont you think its a bit 'Beckham'? You know, they named their second son Romeo Beckham. I personally think that maybe he might get picked on and people may think you have an unhealthy obsession with the Beckhams.

However, of course, it is your decision so if you think this is 'the name' then go for it!

Romeo is a daring choice, but then again, you already knew that.  It's tricky to use a name that has taken on word status in our culture, and the name Romeo has come to symbolize an ardent male lover (especially one who is young or impractical).  That being said, though, I do like it quite a lot.  

With a daring first name choice, it's probably best to pick a safe middle name.  While something like Romeo Jacob Rivello or Romeo Dante Rivello would sound great, I don't like Romeo Blaize Rivello at all.

You might consider something like Roman or Matteo instead.  However, if you've found "the name," then you've found the name.  Just don't name your first daughter Juliet!  :)

i like the name Romeo, i think its a sweet and romantic name. yes i do think he will get a little trouble at some point but all kids do, but i really don't think it will be that big a problem because kids have all sort of weird names now a days so its quite normal.

That is an amazing name. Not only does it have the nice ring to it, but it also reminds me of "Romeo and Juliet." It's cute in a romantic way especially for a little ladies man.
