BILLY'S FIRETRUCK

Outside the window Billy gave a quick look

He saw a big red firetruck just like the one in his book

"Mommy, Mommy where did it go

That big red firetruck, I do want to know"

My Mommy sat down next to me and said

"Now Billy that firetruck so big and red"

"Has gone to help people who need it today

The fireman must go there without a delay".

"But how do the fireman know where to go?"

Ask Billy to Mommy because she would surely know

Mommy said "At the place where the fireman sleep and work

There's a big bell that rings and wakes the fireman with a jerk".

"Then their radio tells the fireman where they must go

So they hop on their trucks and sirens they blow."

Billy thinks to himself someday I will be

Just like the brave fireman. That will be me!
