That's a really cute outfit!!! But if you wear dark or colored jeans, not blue, it would look even cuter!! And it's obvious that those are Vans those other people just don't know their shoes and they don't know what they're talking about.

I'd change the shoes.  Try some chucks in an offbeat color or black i guess. Those shoes remind me of keds and keds are granny shoes haha
