How about writing books?

I'm a teen and am interested in writing books. What are things I would need to do in order to get my books sold?

First important thing is to concentrate on the quality of your writing.  The better your writing, the more likely you are both to get published and to have your book recommended.

Practice, practice, practice!

Learn to devise plots, to write creatively and descriptively, maintaining a suitable level of succinct elegance.  Consider learning about commercial writing.  There are also lots of good books about writing and getting published, as well as selling.  Have a look in your local library or bookshop.

Which reminds me!  If you're published, a lot of bookshops are interested in selling the work of local authors.

In order to sell your books you will obviously need to get it noticed, perhaps set up a website on the internet about your books

Well, you could always give a copy to your friends. And maybe ou flyers and posters around your school or your own. Maybe if you went to like a library you could have them take a look at your book. You never know how many doors that could open!
